FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Do you charge more for your services? - NO! We don't increase our commission rates to offset the donation. That would be tacky and unprofessional.  The other thing we WON'T do is rebate the 25% back to the client in lieu of donating it to the nonprofit. We are Give Realty, not Sometimes We Give Realty.

How much is donated? - 25% of OUR commission which can vary by transaction. On average, it equates to $750 for every $100,000 in home price. As an example, a $200,000 home would equal a $1500 donation. It's NOT 25% of profits. Donations are made based on gross revenue, whether we sell 1 home or 1000 homes.

How does it work? - When a client buys or sells a home, they designate which nonprofit they would like to be the beneficiary of the donation.

Which non profits are eligible? – Any non profit that is a 501(c)3 in good standing is eligible.  Some examples are: schools, churches, food banks, booster clubs, homeless shelters, counseling centers, child advocacy centers, health providers, environmental organizations. 

Do you suggest non profits to your clients if they don’t have one in mind? – We educate our clients on the non profits that fit their interest. For some it’s children, for others it’s the environment, and others donate to their place of worship. We educate and let the client choose.

How much is the average donation? – right now, the donations are averaging over $1900. This includes matching donations.

Are you good Realtors®? – You bet! We work diligently on our client’s behalf to help find them the right home. We have many satisfied clients and you can read their comments on the testimonial page of our website.

Why 25% of your commission? – Well…we felt it had to be enough to make a difference, and it had to be substantial enough to make us stand out.
